London calling

So I have been spending the past month in London, good ol’ Blighty. It’s been brilliant, I love this place. Part of my time here I’ve been doing some short courses at Central St Martins on animation and illustration. It’s been really inspiring to study at the college, with a whole bunch of other international people from various backgrounds. This is an illustration I did as a project for one class – some of the things I’ve loved and noticed about this amazing city! It will be part of a series so keep your eyes peeled for the rest.

I also did this animation about growing up/staying young.

What song is that – Update!

So far the project is going great guns, we’ve reached over 50% of our goal, thanks to everyone’s pledges! There’s still a bit over a month left til the deadline and we’re not quite over the finish line yet – we DO need your pledges to make the project happen and get the book published! For those worried about funds, pledges are processed when we reach our goal/deadline – but we’re optimistic! And for those who are waiting until the book gets published to buy a copy…don’t wait, we need your pledge NOW to make sure it actually does get published.

Every dollar helps and you can score yourself some rewards to boot including signed copies of the book, prints and tshirts! Go HERE for all the info and to make a pledge.

Groupie magazine

I’ve been featured in the latest issue of Groupie magazine, which is a Australian digital publication featuring all the latest news and new talent in the music world. It’s a great read and I love that you can listen to audio of all the featured artists. Check it out!

Super Commuter

I recently did the artwork for the co-headline Ball Park Music & Guineafowl tour poster. These bands are going from strength to strength, it should be a great tour!

Let’s ride like the wind!

I like bikes. It seems most creative types have a strong affiliation with one and I’ve often heard it described as a perfect piece of design. I used to ride a lot when I was a kid, it’s a hard feeling to beat. I used to have a black BMX bike with yellow wheels and grips. Hot to trot.

This pattern goes out to all you peeps that still do – ride wild, dodge death!

I’ve also put up the pattern as a free wallpaper for you all: 1024×768 or 1280×800.
