Groupie magazine

Here’s a recent interview I did for the magazine Groupie, which is a digital music magazine and a rather good one at that. (They also do a fashion magazine called Pages – both are free to subscribe and very cool.)

I talked to Groupie about the relationship between music and art and my creative process, in particular, with regards to my involvement in the Dappled Cities’ art exhibition on soon at Mart Gallery. They are showing a selection of art which accompanied the band’s launch last year for their album Zounds, which got nominated for ARIAs and deservedly so. I was one of 12 artists who each interpreted a song from the album in an installation – and parts of mine will be on display from 1st-4th June at Mart Gallery (156 Commonwealth Rd, Surry Hills). There will be a giant colouring in!
