Small limited run of screenprinted postcards I did today. The black one also has a print on the back which says ‘To ______, I just want to say _______ From _________’ so you can use it to tell your friend/flatmate/mother/other-half that they smell/you need more milk/love their cooking/think they’re luverly. If you drop me an email I might be nice and send you one.

I’ve been having loads of fun at a screenprinting course @ COFA recently, which is letting me add another dimension to my work and answering lots of questions I’ve always had. It’s also let me tee up with one of my creative idols, Kate Banazi, who creates beautiful screenprinted artworks. I really want to buy all of them. Getting to hang out with her and see her creative process will be most awesome!
For my first screenprinting project, I’ve been working on a series of prints inspired by my trips to Japan. I love the country, big time, and wanted to try and capture that eclectic mix and clash of extremes which permeates the culture.
These are the first 2 works I did – they are both A3 sized and currently are at a very, very limited edition of 2 each (I will print more, most probably a total edition of 20 each). There are 2 more works to come, I will post them all up and they will all be up for sale, so if you’d like one, be quick before they get snapped up.

Bored with being told what beauty is? Meh. Probably just bone idle.
